Pro Tips for preparing for the Science and Engineering Fair

Heather Rheinfelder and Chris Krause we will be hosting an informational “Pro Tips” evening to help parents get ready for the 2019 Science and Engineering Fair.
We will cover topics such as how to help your child with their Science and Engineering Fair project without doing the project for them, how to help your child choose a manageable and enjoyable project, how to reduce stress and tears during large projects, what materials make poster creation a breeze, and success tips for presentation day. Fourth through sixth grade students will have the option to choose a Science OR Engineering project this year, and we will be happy to guide parents through the new process of handling an Engineering project. Finally, fifth and six grades students will have the option to be considered for the 2019 Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AZSEF), and what additional requirements competing at the state level are involved.
