Education
I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in American History, from Northern Arizona University. I was honored to have graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. I continued my education, completing my Master's Degree from NAU. I consider myself a lifelong learner and hope to instill the same passion for learning in my students.
Personal: I am married to Mr. Prado and have two sons and one daughter. Robert, served in the Marine Corps and is married to Kelly. Our son Rylan has served six years in the Navy and is now serving in the Air Force Special Operations. He recently married our lovely daughter-in-law, Haley. Our daughter Lauren is currently an Animal Care Specialist and lives here in Phoenix. We have two dogs, Memphis and Willow, as well as two grand-dogs, Dolly and Lucy.
My interesting facts: I love anything Disney related, orca whales, elephants, and the color pink. In my spare time, I also own a photography company and enjoy photographing weddings and families! I'm originally from Boston which makes teaching Revolutionary War so much fun!
