About Mrs. Krause

Hello! I am excited to start another year here at Benchmark.  I spend much of my time here at school helping admin, students, and teachers with technology and designing fun and interesting things to do in the Makerspace.

 

Before I came to Benchmark, I have worked in many different aspects of education, from helping with educational technology projects at the National Geographic Society, creating corporate technology training materials, managing a team of technical consultants, teaching in Montessori schools throughout the valley, and teaching college Geography and Sustainability courses.  I hold a Master's Degree in Geography from Western Michigan University.

 

When I am not at school, I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, reading, sewing, cooking, volunteering at church, and being with my family.  My husband Jeff and I have two college-age daughters.
