I'm so excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year at Benchmark! Mr. Miller and I look forward to kicking off a year full of learning, creativity, and discovery. One of the things I love most about what I teach is how it lets us explore new ideas, places, and moments in time—all without ever leaving the classroom. It’s like taking a new adventure every day!
A Little About Me
Teaching is more than a job for me—it's a passion. I love helping students grow, explore, and find confidence in who they are and what they can do. Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me out in nature, whether I’m hiking a nearby trail or searching for those local hidden gems that make Arizona so special.
Writing is another one of my favorite things—it's how I reflect, recharge, and connect with the world around me.
At home, I love spending time with my amazing husband and our two energetic boys. We’re all about family fun—bowling nights, movie marathons, and spontaneous adventures that keep life exciting. These experiences shape who I am and bring joy, connection, and a sense of wonder into my teaching every day.
