Candice Cantin Bio

Hi! I'm Candice Cantin, and I'm thrilled to be joining the 3rd grade team here at Benchmark School! While I may be new to Benchmark, I bring over more than 20 years of teaching experience both in and out of the classroom, working with students from preschool through 6th grade, specializing in reading and handwriting.

I'm originally from Chicago, and YES a Bears and White Sox fan...IF and WHEN they actually win! I'm a proud mom of two adult children, a daughter Cori, and a son Chad, who are both U of A graduates. I am also obsessed with dogs, largely Golden Retrievers, which I've raised three in the past, and I can't get enough of! Another fun fact, I'm a huge music lover, attend many concerts, & I play the drums!

I'm so excited to be part of the Benchmark community and can't wait to get to know all the amazing families. I'm looking forward to sharing what I love with your children, and helping them learn and grow throughout the year!
