Educational Goals

Raising the standard at Benchmark means cultivating the highest quality of education at our private preschool (3’s and 4’s) and K-6 public charter school. By offering phonics-based literacy, Core Knowledge curriculum, and Singapore Math, our foundational approach to excellent academics is thriving. Our innovative 16:1 teaching model features two professional teachers in every classroom. We engage our students with small groups paced to individual learning abilities, pull-outs for higher level creative writing and competitive math, and after-school tutoring support.

 

We are known for our extraordinarily unique Science Lab, offering weekly classes for all grades with over 80 species of animals, insects and reptiles. Our Makerspace is where we solve real-world problems by inventing and creating. Following the engineering design process, we use design-level thinking and project-based lessons. Benchmark students access art and music; including live performances, art show, and interactive art history.
