Registration Procedures

All students must submit a registration form. Registration forms are available on-line. Only Preschool students pay a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee. In-house registration is held in January. Open enrollment registration in the Charter school is done by lottery. Registration forms may be downloaded from this website. The forms need to be submitted for the lottery by the end of the first week in February. The lottery will be held the end of the second week in February. All students who are already enrolled in our charter school have first priority to re-register for the upcoming school year. The next priority goes to siblings of students already attending our charter school. Any other space available goes to open enrollment students through a lottery or first come first serve basis.
Preschool registration is on a first come first served basis.  We will have a table set-up in front of the office doors at 3:00 pm on the second Sunday in February (9th). You will need to take a ticket (keep it), record ticket number, your name, your child's name and age group/class (3's or 4's) needed on the paper provided. Then you may go home without spending the night. This will hold your spot for the following Monday morning when you must return to complete your registration. The office will open at 6:30am
Both of these procedures are deemed an equitable process.   Our kindergarten program offers a half day or full day option. Currently the State of Arizona only funds the half day option. We can not require you to attend the full day option but if you chose to do this we charge a fee. The full day option is an educational extension of our morning program. The half day option offers the Kindergarten State Standards. Parents always have the option of changing their educational choices for their children and we do not hold them to their half day/full day choice.   Benchmark School admits qualified students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to our students. Benchmark does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our education policies, financial aid programs, athletics or other school programs.
