At Benchmark, our Exceptional Student Services Department is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child we serve, fostering an inclusive and compassionate community, and empowering students to achieve their fullest potential. We recognize that each child is unique, possessing different abilities, learning styles, and needs. Therefore, our mission is to provide comprehensive, personalized support that focuses on the whole child. 
 
ESS makes sure that students with disabilities who meet the criteria get a free appropriate education (FAPE) as mandated by a law called the Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
